FIRST TEST VERSION OF VCDI

My general idea:
Why don't make some electronics for an Aircooled RD, to bring it closer to modern times.
I wanted to make digital ignition, which will require minimum changes to original ignition.
It is not complete ignition system, it is only upgrade to existing ignition.
I started to think about it, in autumn 2002 and I finished it in spring 2003.

Features:
- one programmable timing curve
- curve programmed in four rev points
- programming while machine running
- programming on the field
- rev limiter
- signal delay compensation
- instant monitoring of rev and angle, via LCD

Results:
- improved mid range
- improved top end
- machine was much happier in all rev range
- I didn't have any problems with it's operation
